Do you have a project that you need our Public Art Crew to do? We love to be in the community making it beautiful one painting at a time. No project too big or too small. We offer murals, logos, signs and our youth community garden. Call us to do a project with your business. Money raised goes toward programming for communities in need.

PEACE ARTS Creative Classrooms Classes are available everyday. Community youth can walk in off the street and participate in a variety of educational experiences. We offer painting, drawing, printmaking, upcycled projects, cooking, Lego building, gardening and clay. All of our classes are not limited any form of art can be created in our studio.
For a decade Shy voluntarily cleaned up and offered free programs to the community. In 2015, the City of NSB presented an opportunity to adopt her childhood park. She established a program every 3rd Saturday that offered community policing and diversity training. The 1st program was Painting with the Police. Chief Coffin and his offers joined the community at Pettis to paint and share their stories. (2008- present)
S.T.R.E.A.M Creative Classroom Babe James Community Center For six years Shy's Creative Classroom has infiltrated the lives of 71+ students. In her classes science, technology, reading, engineering, art and math are integrated in their Common Core curriculum. Students learn the process of any great project. Students are encouraged not to give up and to keep going. "Mistakes make masterpieces." They learn drawing, painting, quilts, research, art history, perspective and color theory
PEACE ARTS provided free creative education programming for the children of the PAL After School Program for 4 years. 2011- 2015
Father and daughter work together to paint on the mural. Mural project is part of Shy's PEACE ARTS curriculum that continues to teach the community about the history of Harriet Tubman and the Abolitionists that worked together to change America forever.
PEACE ARTS started "Feel Great Fridays" a creative mentoring program that is open the entire school population.
Once a week Shy embraces the teens at the middle school with her PEACE ARTS Curriculum. Shy has mentored over 40 youth in 2 years.
